Position Summary:  

The Coding Teacher is an exciting new position. The teacher will design and teach the curriculum to 10-13 years old students. The class content will be mostly about logic, problem solving, and programming concepts. In addition, students will be instructed on Micro bit courses, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation.

•  Location: Qing Dao 

• Dates: 2020.7.26/2020.8.17, one week a camp. There might be 2 camps but it depends.

• Salary Range: 13800-15600RMB per project

• Working Hours: Per Project 5 full days, no more than 6 working hours a day; 2 half days for opening and closing ceremony.

• Meals and accommodation covered by us.

• Chinese Asistant：Co-work with one Chinese assistant teacher all round.

• Amount per class: 20-25

Responsibilities and Skills:

Develop specific Micro bit courses with various classes that could entail game programming, Robot programming, workshop. Courses should be developmentally appropriate and engaging.

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities to students.

• Must have critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

• Must have Micro bit teaching skills.

• Must have a high degree of flexibility.

•  Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

• Effectively manage the classroom by implementing discipline, time management, and organization consistent with school policy

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and mastery of core subject.

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to excellence and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

• Adaptability in dealing with change, delays or unexpected events. 

• Pass criminal background check and drug test.
